Light Emitting Diodes, commonly called LEDs, are real unsung heroes
in the electronics world. They do dozens of different jobs.
Collected together, they form images on a jumbo video screen or
illuminate a traffic light.
Basically, LEDs are tiny light
bulbs that fit easily into an electrical circuit. But unlike
ordinary incandescent bulbs, they don't have a filament that burn
out, and they don't get especially hot. They are illuminated solely
by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material and they
last just as long as a standard transistor.
Important information required for selecting correct LED
displays:
Application:
Outdoor or Indoor. Outdoor has to be weather proof and brighter to
compete with sunlight.
Type of Audience: Is it City Traffic {25-40kmph} or
Pedestrian Traffic (On Foot)
Minimum and Maximum Viewing Distance: Sufficient time to read
the message, distance & speed at which the audience is traveling (In
a Vehicle or On Foot). Placement affects the viewing distances.
Screen size should be accurate for clear viewing.
Matter size: The best size is 24” character for longer
viewing (in city traffic) & 6” to10” character for close or minimum
viewing (Foot traffic).
Readable Time: Min 12 second of readable exposure time is
ideal.
Content: True Colour, Video, Text, Graphics, Animation etc.
If text, how many Lines? Live video can be added to most Multimedia
LED displays by adding a Video Camera, Video source, Video Capture
Card Kit and Video Processor.
Viewing Angle: Different LED displays have different viewing
angels. Ensure that the intended viewing audience is within the
viewing cone of the display.
Resolution: Is number of pixels in an electronic display. The
greater the number of pixels, the better the amount of detail
displayed.
Space/ Structure for mounting: Availability of approx 80cm
space on rear for service access is necessary.
Aspect ratio: Ideal aspect ratio should be 3:4 or 9:16.

Exclusive Admire Features:
Uniform Brightness- Luminance Test : Mosaics appear in uneven
brightness under white balance. The difference ratio between LED
bulbs used by ADMIRE is less than 1:1.2. This ensures Luminance
brightness & uniformity in color. “Splash”, “Glare”, “Mosaic” & “
Blur” is avoided.
Color and Appearance Uniformity- Ink Color Test : Discord of
panel color causes unaesthetic mosaics in the screen. No such bad
products come from ADMIRE.
Monsoon Rain Test IP 65: Rain causes damage resulting in
short circuit of PCB, LED bulb & electronic component. We use high
quality Silica Gel for excellent Waterproofing capability,
Anti-Freeze & Anti-High Temperature. Our cabinets are IP65 certified
for Outdoor Weather-proofing.
Summer & Winter Isolation Test: Iron cabinet deforms under
day-after-day isolation causing big rift between cabinets and line
of LED bulbs. Our ESPEC lab can simulate the temperature range from
+85º to -25º. All products are mass produced only after inspection
and correction in this lab.
Dustproof Test: Dust is a killer of electronic components,
especially electrostatic dust which can penetrate them. Maintenance
is difficult because the real reason is hard to discover. Our
product has been ranked in IP5 or IP6 in dust proof test.
Vehicle and Wind Shake- Shockproof Test : Movement of
vehicles & strong wind causes shocks to the screen resulting in
abnormal work of electronic components. ADMIRE outdoor screens
passes shockproof test BG6587.4F where a test is carried out under
the circumstances of quiver frequency 5Hz-55Hz-5Hz, swing 0.19mm,
scanning 1 time/5 min. two times per direction.
Ultraviolet Resistance : Ultraviolet radiation accelerates
ageing of plastic, glue, miscellaneous parts and electronic
components. ADMIRE cabinets are made of ultraviolet proof material
which gives the screen a long life & stable displaying effect.
Electric Intensity Test : Sometimes Screen does not work due
to fluctuation in input voltage. ADMIRE display screen are tested to
control this problem.
Dry Climate - Electrostatic Test : The static electricity
voltage on human body can be more than 1000V in dry season. It is
strong enough to pierce electronic component & LED bulbs. ADMIRE
uses LED bulbs protective from 2KV.
Seamlessness- Plug Gauge Test: If the Modules
or Cabinets are not structured in water level, there could be large
rifts. ADMIRE products are tidy & seamless.
Few Spots- Cold and Hot Impulse Test: When modules lose
control of some pixel points or LED bulbs, the displaying effect in
the screen is aesthetically influenced. ADMIRE products pass cold &
hot impulse, high humidity & quiver test and take no loss of control
of spots.
Electromagnetic Interference – EMC Test: After EMC test of
ADMIRE product, no mutual interference happens between our screen &
other electric products. Such inharmonic phenomena often appear in
the stage such as vocal concert, evening party & so on.
High definition- 1024 Definition Test : ADMIRE screen can
give you a vivid, natural, living video at the rank of 1024
definition.
Oceanic Climate- High Humid & Salty Fog Test: Metal Cabinet
is apt to rot in salty fog weather which appears often in the cities
near ocean whereas ADMIRE display screen can withstand the challenge
of any such weather.
Far and Stable Signal Transfer- Transfer Test: Transmission
of signal must be taken into consideration if LED screen is too
large otherwise it does not work normally. We are capable of
producing large screen several hundred of square meters.
Easy Operation- Software Test: Complicated operation system
often takes a great impact on the normal work of LED display. ADMIRE
LED display operation system is so multi-functional & simple that
anyone can master it in a short time.
Environmental Protection Requirement - ROHS: All ADMIRE
products can be sold to EU area as we have got attestation of ROHS
issued.
Safety Demand - CCC & CE Certification: According to the
related regulation, any electric products without CCC certification
could not be put into market from May1, 2003. In addition, LED
display screen without the compulsory CE by EU could not be sold in
European areas for the possible insecurity, in-sanitation etc.
